The SRAM S900 Direct Mount rim brake for the front offers enormous braking power and very direct response – ideal for modern road bikes with direct-mount forks. Thanks to the special synchronizer design, both brake pads engage evenly, which increases system stiffness and prevents a spongy feeling at the lever.

Instead of letting energy "seep away" into the frame or fork, power is efficiently converted into deceleration. The result: strong braking performance, precise modulation, and fast lever return. It's no coincidence that this brake is also used at WorldTour level.

With tire clearance of up to 28 mm, the S900 is designed for modern, wider road bike and aero wheelsets. The included SwissStop Flash Pro brake pads ensure excellent bite, great feel, and reliable performance in both wet and dry conditions.

The brake is compatible with all mechanical SRAM road bike brake levers – including SRAM RED® eTap® – making it the perfect addition if you want to complete a SRAM cockpit with a high-quality direct-mount front brake.
