The Kona Operator frame (model year 2018) in frame size XL is a proven downhill platform from Kona racing. Developed for maximum stability, smooth running, and control, the Operator is aimed at riders who want to make no compromises in the bike park or on the racetrack. The olive / black color scheme emphasizes its functional, aggressive character.
The frame is designed for 27.5" wheels and uses the extremely stiff Boost 12x157 mm rear axle standard, which was specially developed for downhill applications. The massive PF107 bottom bracket is designed for the highest loads. The head tube standard 44 mm top / 55.95 mm bottom allows the use of stable, modern DH headsets.
The Operator uses a 34.9 mm seatpost with a 36.1 mm seat clamp. The specified travel is 200 mm front and 200 mm rear. The specified weight is 4250 g.
