The Kona Lava Dome Frame (model year 2022) provides a solid foundation for a versatile 29" hardtail. Made from proven Kona 6061 aluminum, the frame impresses with durability, reliable stiffness, and a direct riding feel – ideal for trail, touring, and everyday use.
The 12 x 148 mm Boost rear hub spacing ensures high wheel stiffness and modern compatibility. The head tube with 44 mm top / 55.95 mm bottom is designed for tapered forks, allowing for a contemporary setup.
With a 31.6 mm seatpost diameter (34.9 mm clamp), the frame is dropper-post compatible and ready for trail use.
