It is well suited to light and medium traffic areas such as domestic garages, corridors, walkways and ramps, and will also withstand low levels of vehicle traffic. Ready to recoat in 16-24 hours: Under normal conditions, a second coat can be applied after just 16-24 hours. The coating re full cure within 7 days, giving you a hard-wearing, semi-gloss finish that is ready for regular use. A 5 litre tin covers approximately 10-12 m² per litre, depending on surface porosity. Suitable for a wide range of surfaces and settings: Flortred adheres to concrete, iron, steel and wooden floors, and can be applied by brush or roller. It is also suitable for exterior use on walkways, car park spaces and other marked areas, though it is not recommended for large external surfaces. For additional slip resistance, use with Johnstone's Trade Anti-Slip Additive, sold separately. Surface preparation matters: New concrete should be allowed to cure for several months before ting. Very dense or power-floated concrete may require acid etching to ensure proper adhesion. The first coat can be thinned up to 5% by volume using TC2 Thinner and Cleaner.
