Gaviscon Peppermint Flavour provides fast- effective and long lasting relief from heartburn and acid indigestion. It can also be used to relieve the symptoms of conditions such as hiatus hernia and reflux oesophagitis (inflamed food pipe) Gaviscon both neutralises the acid in the stomach relieving the indigestion and forms a raft over the stomach contents- creating a protective layer to prevent reflux and the pain of heartburn. It is suitable for use in pregnancy and whilst breastfeeding.
