Danish design house Mater pride themselves on producing high-end design. Working with specialist materials and craftspeople, their manifesto is built on celebrating local craft ethically whilst conserving the environment. Designed by Ayush Kasliwal, the Small Bowl Table is crafted from ecologically harvested and lacqued Indian mango wood using carving techniques which pay homage to Kharadi – an Indian wood-turning community from where the material originates. With its circular tabletop and slender hollow steel legs it has a minimalist silhouette – for an elegant yet striking aesthetic.
