It protects against blue stain, mould, fungi, UV rays, and water penetration, keeping wood looking fresh without masking the natural grain. The satin finish resists cracking and peeling, so treated surfaces stay sound season after season. Where to use it: Bondex Satin Antique Pine is suited to windows, doors, shutters, eaves, cladding, garden furniture, and decorative outdoor woodwork. Apply to softwood with a moisture content of no more than 15%, or hardwood at no more than 12%. Do not apply at temperatures below 5°C or in humidity above 80%. Application and drying: Apply two to three coats by brush, by dipping, or by airless spray. Each litre covers 10–15 square metres, giving 25–37.5 m² coverage from this 2.5-litre tin. The product is touch dry in 4–6 hours and recoatable after 16 hours at 23°C and 60% relative humidity. Bare softwood used outdoors must be primed with Bondex Preserve before application. Active biocide protection: The dry film contains three active biocides - 3-Iodo-2-propynyl-butylcarbamate, 2-Octyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one, and Pyrithione Zinc - which protect the cured surface against mould and fungal growth.
