Description
Corsodyl 1% Dental Gel is an antibacterial oral gel containing chlorhexidine digluconate. It is used to help treat and prevent gum problems such as inflammation of the gums (gingivitis), to aid the management of mouth ulcers and denture sores, and to support oral hygiene where toothbrushing may be difficult. Note that toothpaste can reduce the effect of chlorhexidine, so leave a gap between brushing and using the gel as described in the leaflet. If your symptoms do not improve, speak to your pharmacist or dentist. Use in children, pregnancy or breastfeeding should be discussed with your pharmacist.
