Whilst hair is very wet, add a generous amount of ordinary conditioner and comb hair thoroughly and carefully with a Safe & Sound Nit Comb. Comb over a pale surface, such as a paper towel or the bath, and rinse the comb clear of lice after each stroke. Wet lice find it difficult to escape and conditioner helps to prevent lice keeping a grip on the hair. Repeat this routine every 3-4 days for 2 weeks so that any lice emerging from eggs are not given the opportunity to reproduce.
