It requires only one porous surface to achieve a firm, lasting bond, making it a practical choice for awkward or uneven surfaces where nails or screws are not suitable. Gap-filling formula for uneven surfaces: Unlike thin-bodied adhesives, GRIPFILL is formulated as a gunnable paste that fills minor gaps between surfaces rather than bridging them under pressure. This makes it well suited to bonding stair nosings, carpet gripper strips, wall panels, timber battens, window frames, sink units, and fitted furniture. A 6mm bead across a standard 2,440mm x 1,220mm sheet represents typical coverage for one 350ml cartridge. Interior and exterior use: GRIPFILL can be used in both interior and exterior applications, provided the finished bond is covered or protected from prolonged weathering. The adhesive operates across a service temperature range of -30°C to +70°C once fully cured, and should be applied at ambient temperatures between +5°C and +30°C. A 6mm bead at 20°C re its full bond strength in approximately 24 hours; thicker applications or cooler conditions will extend this time.
