Formulated with leafing-grade aluminium pigment, the particles align at the surface of the dried film to form a continuous metallic barrier, giving extra resistance to water and the elements. It is particularly well suited to exterior steelwork, gates, railings, gutters, pipes, and structural metalwork. Quick Drying and Easy to Use: The water-based formula is touch dry in approximately 2 hours and can be recoated after 2 hours under typical conditions, making it straightforward to complete a two-coat application in a single day. Clean-up requires water only - no solvents or white spirit needed. Apply evenly with a synthetic bristle brush for best results. Versatile Surface Compatibility: This t can be applied directly to bare wood or bare metal without a separate primer, or over existing primers and solvent-based ts. For decorative metalwork, Rustins Red Oxide Primer can be used as an undercoat beforehand.
