Bas Armagnac Vieille Reserve 15-20 Year Old, Loubere

Alain Loubère makes a fabulous Armagnac in Labastide in the heart of the Bas Armagnac region of Gascony. In his youth he was a trialist for the French Rugby squad and also a participant in the local sport of cow fighting! He makes his Armagnac in a very tradtional way.

Very full bouquet with lots of fruit. Rounded, silky and wonderfully long in the mouth with raisiny fruit but still wonderfully fresh and lively.
