Kingfisher Bacchus 2018, Swanaford Estate, Devon

A beautifully balanced, 100% Bacchus. Dry and aromatic and bursting with tropical fruit flavours, this is a fine example of English Bacchus and makes a perfect accompaniment to spiced dishes. Swanaford Estate is a small, family vineyard producing superb sparkling and still wines from grapes grown on our south east-facing slopes in the Teign Valley. The 10-acre vineyard, located six miles to the south west of Exeter, is planted with Champagne clones of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier to create traditional method sparkling wines. In addition, we have a block of Baachus and Siegrebbe to produce delicious, easy-drinking white wines.
