The GREENSTEP LWE Energy Efficient loft ladder is a 4-section structure made of pinewood, designed with high requirements in terms of energy efficiency and comfort of use in mind. A 5.6 cm thick hatch filled with insulation material and double seals placed in the box allow to achieve 4th tightness class according to EN 12207. The sectional ladder equipped with adjustable stile ends allows easy adaptation to the height of the room, and the intuitive way of opening ensures comfort of everyday use. The structure is prepared for quick assembly, and the removable hatch facilitates installation in the ceiling opening. Main features: Natural material with exceptional properties The loft ladder is made of selected pinewood, which is characterized by high strength and resistance to deformation. The light colour of the wood gives the structure an elegant and natural appearance. Compact design – ideal for small spaces The 4-section design of the LWE Energy Efficient loft ladder makes it ideal for spaces with limited installation area. Thanks to the smaller swing distance necessary to unfold the ladder, the loft ladder can be used in small ceiling openings where it would be impossible to install standard, 3-section models. The compact dimensions of the construction ensure comfort of use even in a limited space. Convenient operation and intuitive lock Opening the hatch does not require much force – just insert the rod into the catch and gently pull down. The hatch moves away from the ladder, providing additional space on each tread. The entire system works smoothly and safely. Effective insulation for all year round The 5.6 cm thick hatch is filled with high-quality insulation material, and the box is equipped with a double seal system, which ensures high tightness - 4th class according to EN 12207 standard. The heat transfer coefficient for the entire loft ladder is 0.65 W/m²K, which translates into effective reduction of heat loss and improvement of the building's energy efficiency. Modern design and elegant finish The white hatch gives the loft ladder a minimalist and modern character. After installation, the hatch is lowered 5 mm below the ceiling (box edge), allowing it to be flush with the LXA-PVC finishing trims and providing an aesthetically pleasing, cohesive interior finish. Easy to install and fitting any interior Easy removal of the hatch simplifies installation in the ceiling opening. The 4-section ladder and optional height adjustment with stile ends allow for precise adjustment of the loft ladder to the height of the room. High user comfort They provide a convenient and safe access to the attic thanks to their thoughtful design. The hatch, moved away from the ladder, increases the space on the treads, which makes it easier to move freely. The high last tread reduces the level difference when entering the attic, and the adjustable stile ends allow for stable adjustment to the ground. The non-slip surface of the treads increases the safety of use. Increased security thanks to the locking system Equipped with a mechanical safety system that prevents the ladder from unfolding on its own. The lower lock prevents accidental unfolding of the lower section, while the upper lock secures the remaining parts of the ladder from unintentional unfolding. Both of these locks effectively minimise the risk of an accident and provide the user with a full sense of safety.
