Liberty Fabrics Liberty Fabrics Lockwood Tana Lawn Cotton | Dark Blue | New In | Cedric morris (1889-1982) combined a remarkable gift for colour in painting with an equally influential career as a plantsman, creating a radical art school at benton end, suffolk, which became a celebrated centre of artistic and horticulturalist creativity. Lockwood was inspired by morris' botanical paintings, showcasing a medley of wild flora drawn in vibrant pencil crayon hues and catalogued here in this celebration of colour and form. Our tana lawn cotton is a fabric built by obsession, perfected into a modern masterpiece of production through a bespoke process that has evolved over a century. Printed in our own liberty printing mill in northern italy, tana realises unmatchable fluidity with a silk-like touch, unique print quality and striking colour vibrancy.
