Agitator Chestnut Cask Swedish Single Malt Whisky

3cl / 43% / The Perfect Measure - Swedish whisky distillery Agitator likes to do things a little differently. This single malt was aged in casks made from chestnut wood, a practice that would be prohibited in Scotch whisky but is totally legal in Sweden. This maturation provides a deep colour, complex tannin structure and a wonderfully rustic feel. You will find aromas of dried apricots with hints of sweet raisin and red berries on the nose, complemented by a palate full of honeycomb, vanilla and sawdust. 30ml sample.
