The Hex Bar shape places the load in line with the body, whilst also allowing you to stand inside and grip the handles laterally - providing a more natural hand position. The two sets of knurled handles on either side of the trap bar offer increased grip support when lifting the bar. Athletes can flip the hex bar over and use the inner handles which are great for strengthening lockouts and can help beginners focus on developing their range when performing deadlifts.
