The three DCX90-grade core drills measure 38mm, 52mm, and 117mm in diameter, each with a 170mm barrel length, and all use the standard ½" BSP Female Fitment that is common across the Mexco dry core drill range. DCX90 grade construction for site use: Each core drill in the set features Brazed Flat Curve segments with a 10mm segment height and a Slotted and Fluted steel barrel. The high diamond concentration in the X90-grade segments delivers long-life cutting performance and fast waste removal without the need for water cooling. Hammer or impact drilling action must never be used with these bits; drill speeds of between 440 and 2,500 rpm are required depending on the core size selected. Suitable materials and limitations: The set is designed for facing bricks, concrete blocks, breeze blocks, insulation blocks, and soft stone. It is not suitable for reinforced or non-reinforced concrete, or for engineering or clay bricks. A minimum drill motor power of 850W fitted with a slipping clutch is required for correct and safe operation.
