Description
Liberty Fabrics Liberty Fabrics Meadow Tana Lawn Cotton | Red | New In | Typical of the liberty handwriting, meadow was first discovered in an archival pattern book dating from the mid-1930s. Originally woodblock printed at merton printworks, the design combines finely drawn, broken outlines with solid areas of flat colour. Delicate sprigs of poppies, bell flowers and clover are dispersed in a trailing layout, creating an easy to wear, multidirectional repeat. Our tana lawn cotton is a fabric built by obsession, perfected into a modern masterpiece of production through a bespoke process that has evolved over a century. Printed in our own liberty printing mill in northern italy, tana realises unmatchable fluidity with a silk-like touch, unique print quality and striking colour vibrancy. Machine washable and durable enough for daily wear, it is perfect for both simple separates and spectacular statement pieces.
