BassUp 2.0 technology uses DSP to boost low-frequency performance, adding up to 3 dB of bass power compared to standard portable speakers in this class. The soundcore app gives you a 9-band EQ alongside full control over the RGB lighting modes. IP68 waterproofing and saltwater resistance: The Boom 3i carries an IP68 rating, making it dust-tight and waterproof to full submersion standard. Soundcore has tested it to 240 hours of salt spray - five times the industry average - and the housing is drop-tested from 1 metre. The Boom 3i dimensions are 210 x 78.5 x 85 mm and the Soundcore Boom 3i weight is 830g, making it easy to pack for a day out. Floating upright playback: Rather than floating face-down, the Boom 3i is designed to stay upright with the grille pointing forward, maintaining clear sound even on moving water. This makes it particularly well suited to kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing, and beach use. Two units can also be wirelessly paired using PartyCast 2.0 or TWS stereo mode for wider sound coverage. 16-hour battery and smart features: A single charge gives up to 16 hours of playback, with USB-C charging via the included cable. The Boom 3i includes a Voice Amplifier function, an Emergency Alarm audible up to 100 metres, and Buzz Clean, which uses vibration to dislodge dust and debris from the grille. Bluetooth 5.3 with a stated range of up to 100 metres keeps your device connected at a distance.
