Exputex Syrup is a sugar-free formulation designed to help liquefy thick mucus and assist in phlegm clearance. It is intended for oral use and does not promote tooth decay, making it a suitable option for individuals with diabetes. The syrup is available in a 300ml size and contains carbocisteine as its active ingredient. For adults, the recommended dosage is 15ml taken three times daily, reducing to 10ml three times daily once symptoms improve. For children aged 6-12 years, take 5ml two to three times daily, while children aged 2-5 years should take 2.5ml two to three times daily. It is not recommended for children under 2 years.
