Catoctin Creek Barrel Select Rye Zinfandel Finish American Rye Whisky

75cl / 58.5% - Another of Virginia-based Catoctin Creek's Barrel Select releases, this sees its single-barrel, 100% rye whiskey aged in American oak before spending a year in a cask previously used to age Zinfandel wine, adding pleasing drying tannins and black fruit notes.
