Liberty Fabrics Liberty Fabrics Porcelain Peacock Tana Lawn Cotton | Blue | New In | Kate faulkner's (1841-1898) decorative work in textiles, wallpaper and ceramics for morris & co. Helped shape the richly patterned aesthetic of the late victorian period. Reflecting the late victorian fascination with peacocks, porcelain peacock is inspired by a plate painted by faulker featuring a peacock feather and held at the william morris gallery. Painted in watercolour, the artwork's depth and tone is creating by layering feathers, the eyes of which create a spot pattern within the design. Our tana lawn cotton is a fabric built by obsession, perfected into a modern masterpiece of production through a bespoke process that has evolved over a century. Printed in our own liberty printing mill in northern italy, tana realises unmatchable fluidity with a silk-like touch, unique print quality and striking colour vibrancy.
