In the days of Ancient Greece, the deities demand the highest forms of homage, including offerings of food, treasure, and even human lives. Despite this oppressive reality, a handful of mortals cling to a hopeful prophecy that speaks of a savior who will deliver them. Skepticism prevails among the masses until Danae consumes an enigmatic golden apple, setting her life on an unexpected and hazardous journey. Forced to flee her home, she treads the fabled paths once walked by legendary heroes. During her odyssey, Danae encounters the formidable demigod Heracles, and together they embark on a quest to confront fearsome creatures. Yet, Danae's ultimate fate is not to be a slayer of beasts. Her true quest is far more divine; she aims to challenge the Gods themselves, pulling them down from their exalted Olympus while they scream in protest.
