This narrative centers on King Midas, or at least that's the version of events we've always been given. Known as the Golden King, he resides in a palace filled with treasures, and I am the girl transformed by his touch. Confined and isolated, they claim it's for my protection. No one else is permitted entry, except for him. However, when our kingdom faces political unrest, I am relocated alongside the royal court to stay with the King. This marks the beginning of a transformation in my understanding. My affection for Midas wavers, my sense of trust is shattered. The reality of who he is unravels before me, contradicting everything I thought I knew. Though it's said to be his saga, the truth is, it is mine.
