Following a crisis of conscience, Colin Laney left his previous job at Slitscan, successfully dodging the barrage of media lawyers that pursued him. He found new employment with a company overseeing the Japanese rock duo, LoRez. Notably, Rez has declared his intention to wed Rei Toi, an idoru who exists solely within virtual reality.
