"Once a thing is known, it can never be unknown." During the day, Frances Hinton is employed at a medical library, while her nights are spent reflecting within a room in a West London mansion flat. Her world takes a turn when she becomes acquainted with the charismatic Nick and his stunning wife, Alix, who welcome her into their inner circle of friends. With this newfound social life, Frances finds herself engaged in a flurry of activities. Unfortunately, she eventually realizes that she might be nothing more than a pawn, to be abandoned after having served her purpose. She soon understands that a single rebellious act against Alix's desires could lead to the complete unraveling of her situation.
