Inspector Maigret and his wife retreat to the spa town of Vichy, seeking a well-deserved break and quickly adapting to its relaxed lifestyle. Their serene routine is shattered, however, when a woman they often encounter on their morning walks is found dead. Driven by his detective instincts, Maigret becomes involved in the local investigation, determined to uncover the truth, regardless of the path it may take.
