Margaret and Hal purchased a Victorian-era house at an enticing price, thrilled to finally call a place their own. However, they soon discovered that the property was not as vacant as they believed—it was inhabited by the spirits of its previous inhabitants. To add to the mystery, the house exhibits an unusual phenomenon: it bleeds every September. While most would be deterred by such an ominous presence, Margaret was unfazed; she was determined to make this house her home. Yet, after four years, Hal reached his breaking point. He vanished without explanation, ignoring all attempts at contact. His daughter Katherine, unaware of the spectral residents, arrives in search of him.
