Few things are as enigmatic as the human soul. In a quaint Hungarian town, Magda, a writer, meets her housekeeper, Emerence. Over the span of two decades, a deeply personal trust, enriched by unspoken secrets, forms between them. Consequently, Magda is left to grapple with a lingering sense of unease for the rest of her life. As it turns out, some mysteries are better left undisturbed.
