Therefore, when another resident is discovered dead in her chair on a cold December Saturday evening, it doesn't initially raise alarm. However, the results from her routine post-mortem examination reveal an unexpected twist. This prompts Police Sergeant DC Smith and his team to proceed with caution as they delve into the case, where Smith is forced to grapple with some of his own challenging memories. Simultaneously, certain individuals seem determined to push him out of the force, and his personal life becomes increasingly tangled despite his efforts to maintain balance.
