Quickly, it becomes evident that the arrival of the Chinese scientists heralds more than just the mystery of the murder. Within three days, thirteen additional people are found dead in the snow, victims of inexplicable violence fueled by an extremophile parasite released from the Chinese truck. This parasite, activated by intense cold, spreads through mere contact, absorbing knowledge and evolving rapidly.
